We celebrate his 80th birthday with our first concert at Colchester Arts Centre and an all-American whirlwind of melody, dissonance, modality and popular culture. Classical forms are challenged and recharged by the repetitive patterns of minimalism and the driving energy of rock.
The Dr K Sextet is a vibrant young ensemble mixing virtuoso tuned percussion, traditional instruments and electronics.
